Being my second entery now, I consider myself prepared to put my tag out there...I'm better know (if at all) by the name "Barneycrafts." I'm relatively new to all this so consider this fact every time I say something foolish!

For some time now I have been working at creating a fine collection of vintage or antique woodworking hand tools.

I have to pass on the story of my latest find! Through a friend of a friend I managed to come across a complete three trunk set of beautifully maintained vintage tools. The main trunk is huge, with multi layered shelves and boxes within. The inside lid has the date 1902 with the owners name in beautiful inlay. Each and every tool is in incredible shape!

Through the family and correspondance found within the trunck I was able to learn this gentleman was employed as a general contractor for the Canadian Government on the east coast. He worked on everything from lighthouses to wooden steps!

Over the next several weeks much of what I obtained will be auctioned on ebay, however some I will be keeping for myself. As I'm allway open to constructive critisism, please feel free to point out my mistakes....which will be many. I have been reading non stop, and will continue to learn as I go!
